Terms & Conditions

A full 48hrs notice is required for cancelled appointments otherwise the full payment is required. Should I need to cancel a session as much notice as possible will be given and you will be credited or refunded.

To terminate the counselling service I ask for two weeks' notice (2 sessions) so that we can bring the relationship to a safe end.

All appointments must be paid for before the allotted booking

Appointment times will run from the time they are arranged, if you run late, the time does not start on your arrival but for the time slot booked. If late, the session will not be extended.

 Sessions are confidential however, there may be a few occasions where this may not be possible, for example, if I am concerned you or someone else is at risk of serious harm. (Full details of this can be found in the contract, and we can also talk this through for clearer understanding)

I need to collect a small amount of data to offer you the service. GDPR is abided by, and I am registered with I.C.O.

Should you have a grievance or want to make a complaint please feel free to call me and talk it through, should this prove difficult you are welcome to email me at hello@mandydalecounselling.co.uk where I will take no longer than 48hrs to reply.

If working on-line or by phone please ensure you are in a space that you feel safe and can talk freely and openly without distraction for example, social media or TV.

To support us working in a safe environment I ask you to attend each session free from the effects/influence of alcohol or recreational drugs. Should this happen, I  reserves the right, in accordance with the ethical framework, to end the session if it has already started and contact you again after the session when we will agree another date to meet. Please note should the session be cancelled due to the above the session will still be charged.

Please note the above is a condensed version of the contract, should we start to work together the full contract will be given to you to read and sign.
